The Foundation of Craft is the C-Institute’s grounding course — a prerequisite to all craft studies.
It nurtures the mindset, values, and reverence required to walk the path of an artisan.

The course is composed of three core parts:

1. Mindset — Understanding the deeper purpose of craft: its preservation, transmission, and adaptation for the modern world.

2. Values — Becoming part of the lineage of artisans before us, embracing the role of steward and protector of tradition.

3. The Archive — Learning to care for tools, textiles, and the sacred spaces where creation takes place.

More than instruction, this course is a quiet initiation — a reminder that every craft begins not with the hand, but with intention and presence.
